After following this massive bull moose for three days, I was finally able to capture him pausing among the shadows of an idyllic aspen forest on the banks of the Snake River.

The Perspective Series™ | Few things we experience in life equal the thrill of encountering a wild animal in their natural habitat – fascination, excitement, and even fear combine to produce a humbling sense of awe. Sharing these moments with others is the mission and privilege of my life. To accomplish this in my art, I swing for the fences by trying for exposures where the viewer gets a full perspective – the animal in harmony with their stunning natural environment. I find these moments, when captured properly, point to the staggering and infinite sense of mother nature and provide true perspective. In a world of AI generated realities, may these images stand as evidence that moments like this do exist and may they inspire you to experience and protect our last great wild places.
